How can you take cutting edge technology and make it meaningful to bigger broader audiences?

Scaling-up tech:

Airbus had a piece of world-changing technology - the Zephyr, which can fly to the stratosphere, and stay there, using only solar power.

The Zephyr’s technology removes huge amounts of carbon from traditional satellite and telco operations, as well as being able to connect totally new parts of the world.

This powerful technology had a big job to define not just what it can do now, but how it can be applied in the future to transform the lives of people all over the world.

And in doing so, attract interest, partnerships and involvement from a wide variety of organisations, from governments, to NGOs, investors, and big commercial players.

We decided to create a whole new brand, AALTO, to give the tech as well as the mission a space of its own. We created a central articulation for this new brand’s vision of the world and how the technology could enable it: "The Future is Stratospheric", and it uses that vision to educate and inspire decision-makers around the globe.

Hearts & Minds were a revelation compared to the traditional agencies we’ve worked with before. They delivered a new global brand for us inside ten weeks, which was in itself a small miracle. The AALTO brand has performed beyond expectations across all the audiences we targeted, including our launch to the global tech and telco community at MWC Barcelona.
