Bother is a smart delivery service for the boring essentials in life. As a lean UK start-up, it had to move fast to 1. accelerate awareness and 2. increase consideration vs big competitors like Ocado.
We got to the emotional heart of the matter in research - consumers really hate the time it takes to stock-take in their kitchens. "I feel as if I'm taking orders from my cupboards instead of enjoying myself in the garden" they said.
So that's what we served them up, their worst nightmare; evil hungry cupboards that won't leave them alone.
Results:
The campaign on UK TV, VOD and social channels endeared itself to the UK public: Results: within a month, 1.18% increase in awareness 2.39% increase in consideration.
